Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Steve Leighty, Auburn Oral Surgeon and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Steve Leighty

Dr. Leighty is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who recently moved his practice from Grass Valley to Auburn, CA.  He is a second generation dentist; his father was one of the first dentists to practice in Augusta, Kansas.  After undergraduate work at Wichita State University and the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Leighty attended dental school at UCSF and served his residency at the Univerity of Washington in Seattle, and Rijnstate Zeikenhouse in Arnhem, The Netherlands.

After eight years in Grass Valley, Dr. Leigty outgrew his office on Whispering Pines Lane.  His new office is nearly three times the size of the old office and reflects more green technology and materials.  He brought his cone beam CT scanner with him, and will be initiating the process to become an accredited outpatient surgery facility by the AAAHC later this year.
